This presentation will address the ELA speaking and listening standards, also known as the "forgotten standards." Not only do the speaking and listening standards serve as an essential guide to give students the chance to be more prepared for conversations and presentations, but they also directly linked to writing and comprehension. I will team up with Ashleigh Williams, the theatre director at Collierville High School, to give teachers fun and practical ways to help students "Speak Up and Listen."
